En hundesele er skånsom over for din hunds hals. Den hiver og trækker ikke bare i halsen, men i hele hundens overkrop. En hundesele kan også fås, så de er skånsomme over for hundens pels. Hvis du har en langhåret race, skal hundeselen helst ikke hive en masse hår af.
